Paintless Dent Repair Cost Estimate for Hail Damage
For light to moderate hail damage, our Paintless Dent Repair Estimate calculator is easy to use. Note: For severe hail damage (80% or more coverage), it is best to call and schedule an appointment. Hail can cause over 1000 dents that are both visible and invisible the naked eye without special lights. We will be able to take a look at the vehicle, assess the damage, and provide an estimate for the cost of repairs. Of course, you can still use our online calculator to get an idea of the cost. Luckily, hail damage is covered under full-coverage insurance policies and in almost all cases, your rates will not be affected.

Size matters and location is everything…
(Dent Size Comparison)
Size Matters For A Dent Repair Estimate
There are several factors that we take into consideration when preparing a PDR estimate. The size of the dent is just one of those factors. Generally, the larger the dent, the more time it takes to repair. Most hail dents and door dings can be broken down into four sizes. Using the four coins above as a guide, you can write them down on the PDR Estimate Worksheet. Don’t worry if the dent is between sizes. It is just to give us an idea what we are looking at. If your dent is larger, there is a place on the PDR Estimate Calculator to note that.
The Location Of A Dent Will Affect The Cost To Repair
If the dent is in a difficult-to-reach area, it will take longer to repair and will therefore be more expensive. On the other hand, if the dent is located in an easily accessible area, it will be less expensive to repair. Also, a dent located on a body line is more difficult to repair as it takes longer to make it perfect. In either case, paintless dent repair is still the best option when it comes to dent removal.
After The Paintless Dent Repair Estimate Is Submitted
After you complete the Paintless Dent Repair Estimate Calculator, we will plug your information into our “Hail Matrix” to add up all the dents for a rough total for the cost of repair. If we have questions or just need clarification, we will reach out to you via your contact information.
Limitations of Paintless Dent Repair
PDR is the best method of dent removal and for repairing hail damage but it does have its limitations. If the paint is chipped, cracked or otherwise damaged, it cannot be fixed with Paintless Dent Repair. In this case, a conventional body shop repair will be needed. We have great relationships with multiple body shops in the area and can recommend a great one.
